Lodging Expense Support
The Tokyo Institute of Biology Education*, an AABE29 supporting organization, and some individual supporters will subsidize the lodging expenses for all young people (aged forty or younger) from overseas, including international students staying in Japan, who are participating in AABE29 and presenting papers. Please note that biology teachers at primary and secondary schools in countries of Asian/Pacific regions can apply regardless of their age. The amount of the subsidy will be announced after the application deadline (see below) and financial support will be provided in cash at the AABE2024 conference venue.
We also will award the Best Paper Award with prize money to young people (aged forty or younger) from overseas, including international students staying in Japan, who present excellent papers (up to five people). The Best Paper Award will be given at the Closing Ceremony.
Please submit an application letter with the PDF file of the paper abstract attached by email to Dr. Nobuyasu Katayama, the Director of Tokyo Institute of Biology Education,
( katayama@u-gakugei.ac.jp ) by the end of May 2024.

The institute organizes various activities related to biology education, and each researcher conducts research and educational activities on themes that interest them.
